A look back at what we've seen this year

It’s been an incredible first season.

Over the past few months, we’ve talked with directors, actors, designers, creators, and even a neuroscientist to explore not just what’s on Boston’s stages, but why it matters.

These slides capture just a few of the conversations we’ve had—and a few of the moments that have stayed with us.

Before we get to those slides, a quick PSA. We are signed up for season 2 of Scene in Boston, working again with the incredible high students at Boston Arts Academy, Boston's public arts high school. But we need your help. We need to raise $50,000 this summer. To build our long-term viability, these funds are key.
