A whole season of theater, in one guide

Hi friends,

Every fall, I start hearing some version of the same question: What should I go see?

This year, I wanted to give you a better answer than a handful of show titles. So I made a guide to the 2026–27 theater season in Greater Boston.

It brings together productions across the region, including theaters you know and some you might be glad to discover. You can browse the listings, or follow the pages that connect shows by theme and interest. Looking for something to see with family over the holidays? Curious about stories rooted in this area? There are places to start there, too.

My hope is that you’ll keep the guide nearby, come back to it throughout the season, and find a few shows you wouldn’t otherwise have known to look for.
